The Grand Palace is one of the most attractive sites in the city. The palace was built in 1782 and served as home for almost 150 years to the different rulers. Naturally, you get to see all the grandeur that the royals enjoyed.
Till date, the clothes, arms, ammunitions, cutlery, jewelry, and other items used by the royals are on display at the palace. Bangkok waterways are showcased in most of the Hollywood movies. Different parts of the city are connected with the river Chao Phraya River and canals arising from it. You can drive through the city in one of the river taxis. Bangkok has many more attractions that cannot be presented in a few lines. Apart from the ones mentioned above, you can find museums, art galleries, markets, monuments and many entertainment and amusement parks that will keep you busy and happy throughout your stay at one of the world’s greatest tourist spots.
